Hey everyone! Just popping in to say hi. I'm excited and so thankful to tell you that WE'RE MOVED IN! YAY!!! Not everything is done (as you can tell, the cabinets don't have hardware yet), and some of the rooms still have crates of stuff to be unpacked, so I'm going to hold off on posting before & afters. But I'm happy to say that I LOVE our new place.
Our daughter turned two last weekend, so of course we had a party for her the day after we moved in. Because we weren't already exhausted from painting and trim-adding and floor-laying in addition to moving. LOL! But now things have settled in a little bit. As I mentioned in a previous post, I'm hoping to resume regular writing in October. For now I'm learning how to run all of these newfangled appliances that sing at me, and enjoying the absolute LUXURY of having a dishwasher. It's like the difference between having an indoor bathroom and an outhouse.
Not only that, but I can't believe how fast and efficient it is to cook now. The fridge is right next to the counter where my Instant Pot is. I open cupboards and I can see all of my dishes. The cups are right next to the fridge, which magically dispenses cold water and ice. It's crazy.
So yeah, to say I'm loving it is probably an understatement.
